Yeah, it just breaks my heart to see things like this. I only now saw the Auction on Roo Gully because I'm subscribed to her and I've been terribly busy with school. So now I'm just seeing all this. I can't do more than pray, but I'll certainly be doing that!

I appreciate that Mr Hands is entitled to his financial share from the property, under WA "no fault" divorce law. Therefore WE need to raise an amount that is fair, to ensure the invaluable work continues and lives are saved.
If anyone knows an individual or an organisation who will purchase Mr Hands share of the property from which Roo Gully operates, please direct them to do so. XJ

Sometimes I hate mankind. 50+ animals with their lives in the balance. God help us.

Very good video, Roo Gully & Carol!
I am so sorry that your ex-husband is forcing the sale of the sanctuary. I don't believe for one minute that anyone will buy Roo Gully. Who could live with that! We need to purchase his share of the property for the charity ASAP, and safeguard the future of WA's wildlife. Roo Gully has become essential. All volunteers! The property was dedicated solely for wildlife rehabilitation, healing & education by the owners.

When situations like this happen, divorce, death & taxes always do, the public & their elected officials need to step in and insist the invaluable work to continue.
We cannot afford to lose Roo Gully, Carol Lander and the education programme started there. WA Wildlife cannot afford to lose Roo Gully or Carol Lander or the volunteers!
