  • His voice was never as steady and shiny as in this period and in this kind of tessitura. He was (is) always better in the high stuff and singing in this free, open and clear way. Amazing!

  • I will be listening to this alot my exam is on this lol

  • @MeloDer you have to get a rake's progress score

  • @lilloboss I can hear every word.

  • does someone know where i can get the score for this aria? if yes, please tell me. thanks.

  • this is awesome by ramey. His snarl right before "insane" is just great.

  • I can't say that I'm all that fond of Stavinsky...but Ramey *is* magnificent!

  • I burn! I freeze! In shame I hear my famished legions roar.

    My own delay lost me my prey, and damns myself the more!

    Defeated, mocked, again I sink in ice and flame to lie.

    But heaven's will I'll hate, and till Eternity defy.

    Your sins, my foe, before I go, give me some power to pain;

    To reason blind shall be your mind. Henceforth, be you insane!

    (Words by W.H. Auden. Music by Igor Stravinsky.)

  • Can you post Anne's Aria and Cabaletta

  • Samuel Ramey è splendido
