I watched the movie first time in a Turkish TV. I must confess that the arguments were very persuasive and comply with my Grandparents sayings (who are very thin!)..Nowadays I am trying low carb diet and it works!

all of them. no joke. go to the store and get a jar of vegetable oil and there's a 99.999999999999999% chance it's been bleached, filtered. and refined. all that processing makes the linoleic acids go rancid and depletes it of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants; resulting in empty calories, just like sugar

Great! Now you can eat all the butter, dairy, meat and eggs as you want! Good for you!

@techbeast34 Even when modern humans (as we know today) were hunter gatherers they ate very little fruits and berries and lots of meat and fat.

@durianriders Sally looks great (haircut notwithstanding...), especially for a likely post-menopausal woman in her late 50's.
You've never been able to appreciate that not everyone wants to be a depleted, obsessed 'athlete' like yourself because they've got plenty of other things they'd rather do with their spare time. Similarly, not everyone has the gall to live off a disability pension allowing them to sleep 15 hours a day and eat fruit, shit, piss and cycle the rest of their days away.

During the last 15 month I cured a massive cardiac illness by 75 % (rest in the making) and lost 28 pounds!
No Docs, meds, esoterism, healers, supplements, or wse! Simply by following free advices I've found on the web!
By 80 to 100 % I avoid: bread, milk, noodles, potatoes, rice, sugar and industry salt!
I drink a lot of reverse osmosis filtered water (4 to 6 quarts per day) with about 1/5 ounce of Himalayan salt per day! Life's great!

@durainriders Great, your just another bitch who is an idiot. We ate mostly animal fat in evolution days dumbass. We couldn't harvest fruits and vegetables in evolution because we were too short. And also, ever heard of cavemen hunting mammoths? Take a look at this book: Good Calories, Bad Calories by Gary Taubes.

@sueryun Well, the science is completely true. Many people have wrote about this and this sort of information has been featured on Readers Digest, so it is true if it is coming from multiple trusted sources.

This is just too good to be true, I can eat all the butter and fatty beef I want?! but not having the potatoes on the side..=(

Olives are fruit people. They can't make vegetable oils.
I went on a low carb diet for 3 years and all it did was make me have brain fog, hypertension, mood swings, constipated and have very low energy and lower back pain and accumulated waste in my colon.

@beki4peace Nice to see the vegetarian evangelists showing up with the usual b.s. propaganda. (Hypertension, really? Ya'll need to get together for a tofu dinner and re-work your talking points. Low-carb diets have been shown to lower blood pressure more than hypertension medications.)

How about organic cold pressed canola oil? Healthy or unhealthy when used for dressing?
Naile69 1 year ago
@Naile69 Cold pressed is always better, but I don't bother with canola oil at all. The popularity of canola is based on the theory that saturated fats will kill us and monosaturates will save us, which simply isn't true. If I want monosatured dressing, I'll choose olive oil.
