@kb4me123 its English and French: from Anglo-Norman French brabançon. This was originally an ethnic term for a native of the duchy of Brabant just in case you wern't sure.

Absolutely heavenly. You'd think... "What on earth can a bodhran add to a piece like this?" and then it happens about half-way through... Kevin is a master of understatement. Always amazed how the Irish manage to REVEL in playing their very own music. Bliss. Thanks

I believe that is Janet Harbison's Belfast Harp Orchestra. She is doing something really wonderful with these kids. A great harper herself, she once introduced the base melody to Danny Boy as 'The greatest of the Derry airs". She would know.

The harp has gone the way of intellect, virtue, and morality, existing rarely if at all. My soul awaits the renewal.

Beautiful!
I remember just some of the lyrics:
"Come along, come along with your booty and your song, to my hide-away.......cause the redcoat is gone"
"And here's one for my King and the other for my Queen..."
