Just so everyone is aware:
1. IT WAS NOT A COLD START.
2. The motor had 185,000 on it when he bought it and was already hurt pretty bad.
3. I don't own the car. The guy in the driver's seat revving the piss out of it does. And he's not a dumb ass kid, he's a dumb ass 30 year old man.
4. Arlington actually.

Noisy lifter so we added a little seafoam to see if it would quiet it down.

  • Just so everyone knows, it wasn't my car (it was the guys in the drivers seat). It had 185,000 miles on the motor, so I seriously doubt he was expecting much of anything.

  • Nope. Motor took a shit.

  • Time for a valve adjustment. Seafoam will not do it for you.

  • @Saucy0069 You CAN too pour seafoam into your crankcase via the oil fill... it even says to on the can. it clean sludge deposits and increase compression.

maybe you should try reading directions sometime before you spread around misinformation, numbskull.

  • @journey994 you obviously know nothing about seafoam, you dont just pour it into the engine, you either squrit it in with a special tool while the vehicle is running, or you allow engine vacuum to suck it into the intake. therefore, the car absoutly had to be running for at least 10-20 minutes prior to this video.

  • seafoam doesnt help your valve clearance lol

  • If a car is properly maintained (which it appears this car has not been), it doesn't hurt to rev your engine. My car has 122,000 miles on it and I rap it to redline several times a day. I've always driven my cars like that and never had problems. If don't bother maintaining the vehicle, then you're going to have problems.

  • i will now drink my vodka,as i laugh my ass off!!

  • sad thing is i've seen dealerships that offer that carbon clean stuff on new cars (bg, pretty much glorified sea foam)

  • i feel bad for the car

  • god damn really thats probly why the lifters ticking damn take it easy on it

  • @journey994 maybe you could read the description dumbass
