This is a continuation of our scar revision series which started with the co2 laser portion of the scar revision http://www.drphilipyoung.com/procedures.php?procedure=scarrevision This Part 3 will show the dermabrasion portion of the procedure. The co2 laser can take the level of resurfacing to a certain depth. After that its power to continue deeper in a safe way is limited. After two passes the risks increase. We employ dermasanding after the two passes to get the resurfacing layer to a deeper level in a safe, clean and precise manner.
