Are There Female Ways of Thinking?

I call myself a feminist, but I'm becoming increasingly frustrated by women calling themselves feminists who promote gender stereotypes (women are more sensitive & intuitive, men are more analytical & whatever). If a man said women sucked at science then it would be sexist, but a woman espousing stereotypical gender traits is acceptable. There are more male scientists, yes. There are also more white scientists than black scientists. Are we to assume that African Americans are less able to c

Women's "ways of knowing" is the pseudscientific concept developed by feminist to avoid ever debating their ridiculous assertions and horrible scholarship. Think about it. If women have access to certain secret information men don't then men must be, by default, a) intelllectually inferior and b) not intellectually capable of debating with women because they can never know the "secret information" women know. The entire thing is a joke. Feminism is about female supremacy, not equality.

The argument that men are more scientific and reasonable in their thinking is not at all sexist except if you believe that biology and nature is sexist. empirically most prominent scientists are male. research shows that intraembryonal overexposure to testosterone is associated with autistic character traits later on like systematic work and research (most autist are male btw) - which is utterly male behaviour from the psychological pov.

Anyway, it's important to keep in mind there are many different kinds of feminism out there. I'd like to believe most are reasonable, open to dialogue, etc, although some may be tired of others who are being assholes. Then there is the fringe element who should not be listened to since all they want to do is shout, shout, shout... Anyway, good video, and you look good. :P

I hope you don't mind me posting so much. Here is the thing - feminism is about conversation. It is not about shouting over everyone else and saying you're right, everyone is wrong. It is a conversation, a dialogue, with criticisms, experiences, and especially important, LISTENING going back and forth. A good feminist dialogue will mean you learn a lot. I have seen good ones. It may be depressing, but good god does it open up your mind. Bad ones, or shouting, just makes you upset and feel shitty

As for whoever you spoke to, while it is true that there are times where men will say misogynist or patriarchal things (mansplaining is one you've probably heard a lot), just because a man is talking and isn't agreeing with a woman 100% does not mean he is wrong. Yes, he comes from a point of privilege, but if your viewpoint is shit (like the point you're talking about in this video), then you are not right by default...

Hello, feminist here. When I was first linked to your video, I wasn't sure what to think but after listening, I have to agree with you. Whoever you talked to, based on what you've said is a faux-feminist. I have come across these types too, they're full of bile, raging and hateful, and the ones I have in mind have the disgusting idea that "men can't be raped" and have essentially created a rape hierarchy. I shit you not. That is NOT feminism. Feminism is about EQUALITY.
For God's sake, this view of "women think this way and men think this way" IS FUCKING SEXIST.
These people are pseudo-feminists. You know this when, though they claim to be feminists, what they're saying is sexist. Trust me, they never have any idea what they're talking about.
Good on you for calling her on it.

Oh trust me, "You're sexist and racist if you ask me for reasons and evidence" is not a feminist argument. It's an idiotic argument, and this girl is clearly deluded.
As a feminist, I would know. Real feminists tend not to be morons.
