WoW, I was absolutely enthralled all through this version of the Capriccio Italien, And to think it is a 1950 version. You can hear the rough parts in this recording during the crescendos at about the 8:30 mark, but otherwise, I thought it was brilliant. You can't beat the Ruskies for this kind of work. And as for the string section.....WOW, what more do you want? Thank you. What makes you think EVGENY MRAVINSKY can conduct an orchestra with aplomb? He brings out each section brilliantly. :-)
