This is most definitely MJ. We old heads know. In his lifetime Michael sang a little bit of everything. It's young Michael, but it's definitely him. Those who think that it isn't would also be surprised to hear him sing songs like I'll Come Home To You, or Call On Me. He did though. I have them on cd and they are some of the most comforting songs that one can listen to proving that he was always thinking out of the box when it came to music.
