WOOOOZH!!! Never heard of that! What Goodman track (and the MB track) was on it and what pressing plant was used?
I DO have probably the only two copies known to exist of, "Mr. Jaws", on clear purple vinyl! If you look at Jerry Osborne's 18th edition you'll see it listed in there. i'm the one that told him about it! He say's they're worth $50.00 @!
Yes, I have both John & Ernest's and the alternate pressing of, "Superfly Meets Shaft", with a different flip. The more common one has, "Part Two", on the flip, the harder one has, "Problems", on the flip. I have both Imus break-ins (one was by Road Hog & The Neon Cactus on Epic Records). I found a stock copy of that with a flip, most often you'll only find the double A promo, and I have, "Son Of Checkers" (long and short versions) and the stock copy with, "Heal Us All Billy Sol" on the flip.
Okay, thanks. I've got it in my list as being around late `81/early `82.
I've got around 500 break-ins, so far. Maybe 100 to 150 are just recordings of Frank's records, but Frank still has at least a few dozen that he didn't bring here for me to record for the book.
Your interview will be listed in the book, too.
At the moment, I'm 4 seconds shy of having 51 hours of break-in and Dickie/Bill material. I have 17 CD's worth of them put together, so far and that only takes me up to early `71.
Hi, Is this the same Wayne Scott that interviewed Dickie in the early `80's? If so, I might have a few questions for you for my book on break-in records.
