  • Phorm is failing, just look at their share prices. I agree with jaycek, BT should be investigated over the illegal trials also known as wiretapping.

  • Yes you'd think so wouldn't you. There's no need for conspiracy theories - they admit to everything they want to do, of course dressed up in nice fluffy language. All it takes it to convert what they say into cold hard language and you get the truth.

  • You are a WIRETAPPING 'service' designed to spy on people to make money for YOU with no benefit for the users who's browsing habits your are SPYING on.

END OF STORY - leave BT - if you ever see Webwise or Phorm any other 'odd' initial page when you start browsing the web - change ISP - they are spying on you and getting paid for the data they collect on your browsing habits!

  • They did actually get cleared in court, so I don't think it's all played out in quite the sinister fashion that most 'conspiricists' have led us to believe... Phorm (along with all the other behavioural targeting companies) know that they can't just shit all over everyone because they'd fuck their own business up!

  • A better experience would be guaranteed by you lot disappearing from the face of the earth and BT facing criminal prosecutions because of illegal wiretapping.

    You can't polish a turd.

  • No, you are not excited about developments in privacy, or 'enhancing a customers experience'. You are excited about 'easy money'.

Instead of actually creating something useful to people, your company has simply changed it's name from 121Media (the SpyWare company),to Phorm, and secretly conducted trials, in collusion with British Telecom, to wiretap peoples web browsing habits.
