Nevaeh is rushed to Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital by her father Christopher Richardson, her mother Cynthia Goscicki and her paternal grandparents at 1:55 a.m.

Doctors saw she was bleeding through her nose, mouth and rectum. She also had bruising to her head and ears,

24hrs later Nevaeh Ann Richardson dies at 2:25 a.m

Her death was ruled a homicide due to anal intrusion and sepsis, a blood disorder.
She was 8days old.


Nevaeh was sexually assaulted causing her massive internal bleeding. At the time she was taken to the hospital she had lost half of her blood.

Nevaeh was seen by a family doctor on November or 20TH or 21st and was fine.

Police believed she was assaulted sometime between Nov. 21st or 23rd.

Her father Christopher was arrested and charged with her sexual assault and murder. Police believe he used his finger to sexually assault Nevaeh.
Christopher also faced charges of domestic violence for abusing Nevaeh's mother in the backseat of the car as the drove to the hospital. , Richardson is accused of slapping his girlfriend across her face, grabbing her by her hair and threatening her should the baby die. Christopher had a history of alcohol abuse. There were several reported incident of abuse against him filed by Nevaeh's mother.
Adie says Christopher was drunk the night Nevaeh was assaulted and was alone with her for some time.


The charges were however later dropped. Christopher was the only one accused of assaulting and killing Nevaeh.

Christopher pleaded guilty to second degree domestic violence for abusing Cynthia while taken Nevaeh to the hospital. He will face a possible sentence of up to one year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Nevaeh's name is Heaven spelt backward. She was born three weeks premature .After nine days here on earth she was taken back to heaven.
