Centerville, Iowa aerial video from electric sailplane

Mind-blowing visuals include the junk yard, and the water tower on the south side of town. It was a little too windy, so the video is kind of shaky. This was my first flight using this camera. The video file taken directly from the camera is of much higher quality than the compressed version shown here. The EX-Z80 will record video at 30fps and a resolution of 720x480.

Nice video. Really like watching the water tower go by with its name on it. I have been doing some video also from my electric sailplane in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Real fun. Try putting a small digital camera on the plane. 10MP or more on it. fire it off with a small servo on the rudder channel. Images will be nice and sharp.  Keep up the filming and post some more. Wow...makes me homesick and airsick at the same time...lol.  Nice shots of the Levee area. What is that body of water to the North...I don't remember that? Please take some shots from the North side of town...around Alliant Energy. :-) Nice Job.
