College: Mother vs Son

This is the last film made in the Summer 06' season, and by far, my favorite. I had planned to make a third mother film back in May, and I even filmed a trailer for it (It's called "Stop"). This original concept never amounted to anything other than the trailer however. Timing was just bad, and all the elements failed to fall into place for me.

Fortunately for me though, just days before moving to Vermont for college, I came up with a new idea for the final Mother film. Parents always pressure their kids about packing for college, so why not take it a step further?

I think this is the most refined of my films, as far as camera technique and choreography goes. It was a blast to make, and it only took me three hours to shoot, and another three to edit. Planning things ahead of time really does help.
