Mark Champion walks through the door of his Teddington home, throwing his car keys into the dish on the table by the door and lets in his new guest, Michael Davenport into his home and gives him a gesture that tells Michael to take a seat in the sitting room. Mark grabs a two glasses and a bottle of scotch and puts it on the table between Michael and the seat Mark was about to take. Michael reaches out for one of the glasses and pours himself a drink, Mark does the same and then leans back on the sofa and takes a swig out of his glass and then leans back forward to place it back onto the table. He puts his face in his hands for a moment and sits up with his right hand on mouth and then he rests his forearms on his lap and looks at Michael.
"What do you want me to help you with? How can I trust you? Give me one good reason I should help you at all".
Michael puts his glass down, which he still hasn't taken a sip out of yet and resumes to his previous position which closely resembles Marks.
"I assume you've heard of Howard Vance".
"You mean the gangster who owns half of the warehouses on this end of London".
"Yeah, that's the one. Well, I recently gave the met a large amount of information about his organization. Well now he's after me, and I need your- "He's after you? Of course the bastard is after you! He's one of the most notorious gangsters in London. It's amazing your still alive, and now you want me to help you! Fuck you man, I'm not getting involved, my life as a gangster ended shortly after I joined. Most people don't learn till there old and decrepit. If he's after you then you need to get the fuck out of my house, right now". Mark stands up and gestures Michael to the door.
"You know what? I didn't want you to help me. The only reason why I have met you is because of some Irish fuck I call a friend is to busy having Five go after him".
"An Irishmen sent you to me?"
"Yes, I just said that".
"Did his name happen to be Seamus Gri-" "Griffin, yes it's Seamus Griffin who sent me here, he said you could find someone who can help me. Well I can honestly say he forgot to mention that you were a cunt".
"A cunt? Honestly? Is that it? You know what I hate? Assholes who come to me for help I don't have to give or have ever offered, but what I hate more is a dumbass who gets himself in trouble and then calls his possible escape from that trouble a cunt. For Christs sake that's like telling your waiter that you think he's an idiot, when in fact all your going to get is jizz in your food, and yeah I've done that before. Now I'm going to help you anyway's because Seamus is a drunk who kills people when he expects them to do work for him, even though he didn't ask them formerly. So get the fuck off your ass, and lets go.
"I just got here, I'm fucking tired and your driving made me sick".
"Again with the fucking insults! Do you want me to help you or not? Now come on before I change my mind". Mark leads Michael out of the door and heads to the car.
"Where are we headed"? "Well, if were going to be gangsters we need guns don't we?" Luckily I know a guy in China town who is friends with a guy who works with the 41K who lets him get some heat for some cash. Which his friend gets half of the profits that he earns selling guns to fucks like us. You get that?" "Yeah I got that."
