the crusade was the worst album(i still enjoy it though) but ascendancy is the best album

shame about the screaming... i thought they had grown up.. screaming = lack of talent, but Matt showed he had talent in Crusade and parts of Shogun.. Screaming is usually targetted at 13-18 yo, which is a shame as Trivium musically (guitar and drums) appeals to older generations... screaming is just teen angst, keep that for commercial bands like slipknot...

Are you kidding me? Crusade was basically a Metallica tribute album. Sure it was a good album, but screaming is a big part that makes Trivium's sound.

I think you're just one of those guys who only likes thrash. You may now return to listening to your Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament, (include other thrash metal band's name here that sounds exactly like the bands already mentioned), ect. How can metal ever progress if everyone plays shitty 80s thrash metal? Screaming=thinking outside box.
