As Governor you took a strong leadership roll in the states educational system. I feel these decisions are best reached at state and local levels. I agree with Ron Paul, eliminating the Dept. of Education. It's very inefficient to send our dollars to Washington, only to have them put a big chunk in their pocket, then send the rest back to the states with a new mandate.
