Beginner tries out new keys (E-Mu Xboard 49)

Me playing the first part of Miami Ice from Lotus 3. Just to show friends what I've bought ;) . Backtrack created myself, also - don't mind my lame playing, I've never played keys in my life - this is, like, the 39th try...

@trancelistic yes it should be possible, i guess on the instrument keyboard mapping. if the instrument has that capabilty of course. if not, use an instrument that has split sound itself.

I have a serious question, I have trouble to find an answer to.

I hope you can help me out, or any 1 in here. Please PM me.

I have also the xboard 49 but I've heard and read that its possible to enable "split-key" So that i can for exsample link 1 intrusment in Fruityloops to the lower section on the xboard, and anothr intrusment on the upper keys.

Is this possible, or am i wrong here? cuz that would be awsome. Thanks <3

Sorry for dubble posting.

I got it to work. I forgot to enable asiov2 in FL. The buttons are lovely to, and the sensetivity gets a 7 of a scale of 1-10 .

Time to mix a bit realtime hehe :). Btw nice video.

I am having problems with this device.

When I connected the xboard49 to my usb windows installed all proppely without any probs. I also download (driver) software from the emu site. But the device doesn't show up in fruity loops in the "F10 " menu ( option/midi)

After some clicking enbale disbale on the usb I got it finaly to work ( well FL plays the sound if i hit the xboard but its delayed )

Is this becuz FL doesn't show device in "midi settings" ? or ...? help me pls.

Good. I was looking also for a board. I liked the novation nocturn 49 also. So I went to the store. The novation nocturn 49 buttons were crappy. The buttons of the emu the round are much more solid.

The keyboard is almost the same as the nnovation. So if you look at the price, a emu is much more value for the money :-)
