  • • Prolonged exposure to an unshielded discharge lamp can cause eye and skin burns. Do not stare directly

into the light output. Never look at an exposed lamp while it is lit.

    • Do not operate the fixture with missing or damaged covers, shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens.

What part of this you did not understand... if you don't know how to handle this kind of equipment then DON'T

  • @fnerter I guess you dont know where the U.V. filter is in a 2K ??? You might want to check your facts before commenting.

  • @sTeedge [Do not operate the fixture with missing or damaged covers, shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens.] I actually don't know where the UV filter is in a MAC 2k.

  • Do I hear Hybrid - Last man standing in the background?

  • martin is the best!!!!

  • Wow, you are an idiot martin is the best sorry you use american dj.

  • AGREEEEEDDD!!!! who would hear that over most applications anyways like concerts and stuff????

  • Clay Paky are brill, but they are hell noisey and heavier then all the rest, but i disagree on the Maglite thing i have a 8D call Mag and the Roboscan 812 will beat it with its 150 watt discharge lamp the 218 MK1 has a MSD 200 and the MK2's i upgraded to a MSD 250/2 with a fan change, and they will out perform my 1500 watt strobe.

  • clay paky ... never really seen one i think, well , from the videos they look really nice..

and , maybe martin lights are built to last.. most of the lights (especially older models ) have an light output less than a maglite ;' ) ...
