Its a hard thing to deal with; los­ing that is. Its hard because you believe your team has taken a step back, things were click­ing and now your unsure if it was even worth get­ting excited about.

Ive been a fan of the Cowboys for 10 years; I have stud­ied Cowboys his­tory a great deal and con­sider myself to be pretty knowl­edge­able. However study­ing doesnt pro­duce emo­tion. This was my first sea­son where the Cowboys won a play­off game. It was the first sea­son I watched a team play with inten­sity and heart.

Now I know los­ing to the Minnesota Vikings the way that we did isnt sit­ting well with most of you. The fact the Tony Romo fum­bled and threw the ball away a good bit has some of you won­der­ing if hes the real answer at quar­ter­back. Another ques­tion among you may be some­thing about the safetys and if that sit­u­a­tion will ever solve itself.

I know that your agree­ing with this and you know what parts com­ing up, but please hear me out. This is a step back but weve taken 3 steps for­ward. This team has finally come into its own, its finally learned that a team is a fam­ily and when you win and lose you do it together.

Its much too early to start over, its too soon to call Romo a bust (whose played bril­liantly this sea­son by the way) its too soon to say that Wade should be gone, and its cer­tainly to soon to say that this defense isnt a unit that can win championships.

This is your Dallas Cowboys team for the next 3 or 4 years. The draft will bring us some new faces along with free agency, as some play­ers will go (Marcus Spears). You can bet some play­ers will be pack­aged in a deal (Weve got our eyes on Martellus Bennett and Marion Barber) but ulti­mately this is the unit that will bring wins and losses.
