thr jessye norman perfurmance is far and away the outstanding rendition of this song Superb control, perfect diction, mature handling of the modest lyrics, emphasis always
on the essential sentiment, and the magic of a superb voice providing the simple beauty of the composers work.

Hi, just watched the video Marble Halls - Peter Ibbetson with Gary Cooper. Just put the move in my Netflix queue. Who is singing "Marble Halls" with this video. I like this version much better than the Enya version you usually hear. Can't wait to see the move.

I saw this film on N.Y. tv The Late-Show in the early 1960s and can never forget it. It has a great beautiful charm yet emotionally it's totally haunting. Excellent film production. The feelings invoked are not felt in modern LA cinema,

I saw this movie about 30 years ago. It left such an impression on my...one that has lasted over half my life. Hopeless Romantic I guess.
