  • So how much RAM can the model you just showed handle if I were to upgrade it?

  • @ezfingerboarder - There is some variation on the white models. I believe all can take at least 4 GB. Some can go as high as 8 GB.

  • i have a question how many memory does macbook late 2006 have????

does it have 2?? one is for the app and the other one is ram memory??

  • @22perezl - I think you are very confused about memory in computers. Sounds like you are confusing it with the way that flash memory works on a smart phone.

  • I hate this model of macbook they are so badly made. My one has cracks and plastic shards coming of it and the irony is that it has never left the sight of my desk.

  • OMG What an awesome find no BS Thanks a million just ordered 2x2GB Ram as Lion has slowed it down.. Thanks man

  • Thanks for posting - I was somehow expecting this memory upgrade to be a nightmare. You never know with Mac if they're going to make it easy or require a master's in engineering.

  • Thanks for the video. ALL your shows on older macs are VERY helpful. Gives me hope to know that my high-tech stuff from 2002 is still useable!

  • in my ram drive there is a flat ribbon wire in the way of the input there so i cant get the ram stick in D: does anyone know how to fix this i could really use some help ;/

  • @22perezl I've just updated mine. 3sources (Apple, Cancom and Crucial) all told me that my late 2006 model can only go up to 2GB (2x1GB)

  • @adric22 How do you determine how much yours can take?
