Graeme Finlayson and Darnley Rayside in the http://www.racedandrallied.com Mitsubishi Evo III RS Group A rallycar on the Rally Barbados Canefield North stage.
The difficult day continues, having blown a turbo on SS2 we replaced it with a standard Evo III copy one, so no ALS (anti-lag) and just seeing how the turbo reacts. A spin halfway through the stage and then one of the inter-cooler pipes pops off (presumably from the oil from the previously blown turbo) meaning zero boost for the rest of the stage. A very very frustrating day.
I am a bit of a noob. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Turbo chargers have lag because they are driven by the exhausts? so how does ALS stop that?
