I love the way Darrell plays his songs differently each time. They remain essentiall the same but the accompaniment varies so much it is endlessly fascinating to listen to both for the song itself and for the enjoyment of his excellent guitar playing skills.

I heard him do this on WSM the other day. It was fantastic. I do like Patty Loveless's version better. He plays dobro on her Mountain Soul version. This song is a masterpiece no matter who does it.
