@krazykhrisya Yeah, media center does suck on XP. They improved it in Vista and 7 though. Microsoft website sold Windows 7 Ultimate upon release to students (high school and collage only I think) for 12 dollars, thats how I got 7.

thats pretty cool but i wouldent want to risk anything happening to my computer
also can you actually use it like a modded xbox and play stored games emulators movies music and other stuff that u can on a modded xbox

Isn't this only useful if you don't know how to make your pc into a media center?
As in wouldn't it be simpler if you just booted Windows Media Center? And if you want a media extender just set up your 360 and link them to each other.
I'm not sure what the point of this vid is, maybe it's useful if you've got XP and no other way to do media center...

I completely agree with you...I'm not much of a fan of the interface, and the navigation sucks...Media Center is much better. But with this, you can run it on any system, whether it have Windows, Linux, OSx, or no operating system at all. If you've got Windows with Media Center, I wouldn't recommend this unless you're just curious.

xBox Media Center is a platform (originally made for the xBox) that can stream and organize media. This makes it so that you can turn any system that can boot from a USB drive into a streaming media center.
