It can be found in the Europe, US and Japan of the 3DO version, it's weird...
Another World 2 was only released on the US...

in the genesis verion this animation appears right after the end when you escape it doesn't even go to the credits..

@KiiroBomber reading the description " it's weird" , I don't think it is weird at all. It makes sense to me and gives so much more depth to the characters and the game and gives so much more dimension to it without saying a word! Modern games should learn something from this.

@discalbrothers The controls sucked, the story arch borrowed too heavily from the first and tried to tie up all of the loose ends and the first was supposed to be a stand alone game.

@Hydrassas I wouldn't disagree with Mr. Chahi if he really wanted "Out of This World" to be a standalone! Although, come to think of it ... I remember burning me a copy of "Heart of The Alien" to play on my Mega CD console ... YET I CAN'T SEEM TO FIND AN S-VIDEO CABLE ANYWHERE AROUND ME.

And I don't really know if wether I should watch a spioler video here on YouTube or not ... But, tell me ... why would it be "crap" in your opinion?

@discalbrothers That's executives and producers for you... The original creator of Another World wanted it to be a standalone game and personally I see it as one but the producers and publishers saw money and broke off to make the crap that is Heart of The Alien.

Wow, I've owned the 3DO version for years now and never played through it because I hated the music so much compared to the Sega CD version! I had no idea this was in there!!! It's interesting that the video uses the Sega CD version's music as opposed to more of the 3DO's style. I wonder if there were plans to release Heart of the Alien on the 3DO and that's why this was included? Although, this isn't the whole movie. :) The Sega CD intro is much longer.
