Ok.. dude... what do samurai's hold above all else... would it be honor... bruce willis could have left but he just couldnt leave a guy to be raped like that... sure sure you wanna say he did it to save his own but But Id say it was the honorable thing to do... what weapon did he choose again? just sayin

The only Tarantion film I've seen that I really didn't like was Deathproof. He just goes SO overboard w/ the chicks doing the usual Tarantino pop culture talk thing that just goes on and on...and on...and on that it made me sick eventually. By the time the interesting stuff happens later I just didn't give a shit any more.

pulp fiction is probably the best movie of all time it would have to come close

So you hate The Lion King because you find it to be morally bankrupt, but you praise overrated bullshit like Pulp Fiction?
-
In this review you say "Never judge a film until after you've seen it".
That's good.
But in your review of "saw" you say that you're not going to watch hostel because it's a sick movie etc.
Then you judge a film BEFORE watching it! -.-

@ThatNiceAtheistGuy Jackie Brown is the first of the TOO long films but at least its the best one he has done since.

I agree. It doesn't really even have a plot. it's just a sequence of events. 80% of the dialogue has no relevance to the plot at all.
-
Oh god i cant believe you just compared pulp fiction to family guy. OH MY FUCKING GOD YOU INSANE PERSON YOU.

Gotta disagree on this one. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, but as a piece of entertainment. Nowhere in its run time does it even begin to qualify as a masterpiece. The dialogue, while incredibly entertaining, has no depth, and mostly has nothing to do with the plot. The script is nothing more than a much sharper and infinitely better executed version of the kind of lazy writing present in Family Guy. *hides in bomb shelter*

No no, it IS a rip-off, any of us could do a movie review as long as we have a mic and WMM. He asks $25 to be donated to him as for whatever reason he dosen't see this as a "pay-for-service" thing even though thats what it is.
At a certain point in the review you say: 'I didn't like any of Tarantino's films except this one' When you say that you see a picture of reservoir dogs.
Did you liked reservoir dogs or were you still talking about Pulp Fiction?

Still talking about Pulp Fiction there. That was just unfortunate timing on my part.
I haven't hated any of his other films either except for the Kill Bills that is. I just didn't think the rest of his films were very good.

Great review. I remember being fourteen and watching this movie non-stop, and I didn't even have the first segment on my copy, and when I finally saw that missing part it was like seeing a sequel for me.
I have to disagree about the case thing. That's now one of my favourite elements of the film ever since I only recently "found out" what's in the case. It added a whole new dimension to a part that I thought was a bit plain at first.

I think everyone is going to react the the "whats in the case" thing differently; that's probably why he put it in there in the first place.
I know a lot of people liked it a great deal, it just wasn't my thing. But fortunately that's only my problem and not a problem with the film its self.
