Arthur Penn was one of the great directors of television's Golden Age before he moved into stage and film directing. In this 2005 interview clip he describes the chaos of live TV for writer Nat Segaloff for the book "Arthur Penn: American Director." To be published by the University Press of Kentucky, it's the first-ever biography of the famed director and was written in close collaboration with him.
Pretty interesting. Not to degrade this, but he looks like the lovechild of Noam Chomsky and Geoffrey Rush.
