I'd like to address what Ratigan said at about 4:41.

Why would anyone give money to some institution if they weren't sure it would be safe there? I wouldn't hand my life savings over to a gambler in vegas for safekeeping. The only reason people give their money to the casinos on wall street is because of the FDIC. Without the FDIC, people would only give their money to safe, reputable, reliable institutions who do not gamble. You don't need regulation, just stop protecting the gamblers

@capitalist4life I bought annuity with state farm and I later found out they are not FDIC insured and when I asked for my money back they they were going to charge me $600 which was what I had in there. And I don't trust the FDIC or Banks anymore

I love Johnson, and Ron Paul. But unfortunately because the GOP is still under the control of war-hawk neo-conservatives they'll do the same thing they did to Paul in 08 to Johnson if he runs in '12.

@MrNationalistpride Annuities are almost never FDIC insured. A lot of people don't know this, but the FDIC is technically private. Your money in the annuity is probably insured through a different insurance agency, and I can tell you that the insurance amount is likely much higher than the FDIC 250 K. I understand your distrust, but don't worry too much. Your money is safe.
