http://live.pirillo.com - I really don't want to fight anymore. I'm tired of it. Even more than that, I'm tired of reading insipid commentary who lack perspective, and experience, and are "armchair quarterbacking". I don't know everything. I admit that.

  • I'd love to use Linux but the problem with open software is it's just that much harder to get things working and to get good support. Windows 7 honestly works fine, dispite the fact that I'd love to love Linux.

  • "you can buy a mac for a hell lot cheaper than a gaming pc"

    >pause the video

    >close the browser

    >shutdown the pc

    >exit my room

    >open the door

    >get on the floor

    >everybody walk the dinosaur

  • I don't like windows

  • I just bought a new Mac mini 2011 and it is not about cost it is about performance and how u use your Mac...plz respond back

  • your an idiot

  • @RJTamm93 Wow, dude, i couldnt have said it better :D

  • ever heard of uninstall a program search it in the "search programs and files" menu

  • The debate with Macintosh vs. Windows is very simular to religious debates. They never get anywhere. neither side changes their mind, and everybody ends up getting angry.

  • Windows Vista Crash = BSoD

Mac OS X = SPioD, Kernel Panic, Attention grey little box to press restart button?!?.

  • @VinylRhapsody Not trying to argue here, but then how was I able to use up 5 gigs of ram on Server 2003 Ent. with paging disabled? Again, this is a 32-bit OS. System Properties addresses 4.74GB on Server 2003, Windows 7 x64 addresses 4.98GB. Take a read at this, it's pretty good info:

    blogs .te chne t.co m/b/markr uss inovich/arc hi ve/2008 /07/21/3 09 2070.as px

  • @Skyscraper446 Maybe that's true for the software, but the physic hardware can not. 2^32 (for a 32 bit processor) is equal to 4,294,967,296 which is what 4 gigs would be, 2^64 (for a 64 bit processor) is 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 which is what 18 exabytes would be.

  • @VinylRhapsody Hate to tell you this, but you are mistaken. Microsoft has never really explained "why" there is a 4gig limit for consumer editions of Windows. It is actually a licensing feature. If you look at the official Windows Memory Limit, you'll see Server 2003 Datacenter (32bit OS!!) has a big limit of 128GB of Ram. Server 2003 Enterprise has a 32gb limit, and it is indeed a 32bit OS. It's not hardware issues at all, it's MS's licensing.

  • @TheMasterofganja Not entirely true. Actually any 32-bit OS will recognize 4 at max. This isn't a software issue. A 32-bit processor can only use 4 gigs of RAM. A 64-bit OS can recognize as much as it is programmed to, because I think a 64-bit processor can recognize some absurd like 16 exabytes of RAM. But if you put a 32-Bit OS with a 64-Bit processor it will still only recognize 4 gigs because it is programed to run only 4 gigs

  • @DEVOXxCANADAxX do you realize most of your reasons he just went over on the video?

  • I haven't lost a program I really cared about because the compatibility has increased to insane methods, and also improved methods for getting 16 bit programs.

  • Win7

    1. Compatibility with software/games from older windows (outside system management type)

    2. More USEFUL user forums dealing problems.

    3. Open Development for software

    4. Gamer friendly environment with Direct X & Open GL, and Newer GPU utilization methods.

    5. Easier to update/replace hardware without voiding the warranty outright.

also a note, Mac since OSx has been Service packs (good ones) and charges you for them, then has the balls to call them a different OS.

  • I work at a computer repair place and we get macs all the time. Why are people so dumb?

  • @CnfedrateSh4d0w Actually, the way the hardware runs is determined by how the O.S. runs it. You have this completely backwards. Hardware is only as good as the software it utilizes. For example, you can put 8 GBs of ram in a 32-bit version of XP and it will only show 3gbs of ram because the O.S. doesn't recognize it. See what I'm saying'. Also, a high end graphics card will only work to capacity if the drivers (software) are installed.

  • You want your 5 reasons why i rather use windows then mac? I have been using windows since MS-DoS 1.0 Black & White, well the monitor was black and white lol. But here it is!

    1) Software Compatibility

    2) More Reliable For Company Users (don't be leave go to any store near you and ask what OS is that...They will say windows XP because it crosses back to number 1 reason.

    3) Cross Platform On every Computer

    4) Simple to run

    5) Cheaper then a mac computer with more on it!

    6) DMG to CDPT Install

  • @RJTamm93 Not really aslong as you know terminal and sudo commands also tty commands it is easy to use.

  • its not the operating system that makes the software run great! its the hardware within the computer! icanse you havent noticed but the operating system doesnt give the computer any boost in speed! it may slow it down but it absolutely does not boost it!

  • Vista is better the Mac os because it pisses me off more lol

  • why the hell is it so interesting to talk to a stupid nobody, and especially hearing to the shit comes out of his mouth. I hate mac, but vista is total shit.

  • @kris10ish I DIDN'T SAY "THUMBS DOWN IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO!!".

  • @RJTamm93 That's why someone needs to Linux and make a closed source company out of it. Without the money, there is no competition. There is no drive for Linux to become better other than the few developers that wish to make Linux better. That would make Linux a SERIOUS contender. Wasted potential for Linux...

  • @miloedo windows

  • @LessthanJake14 Alternatively, why would anyone want to run osx anywhere
