  • @MrMiko93 He use 2x the mass of mercury I think ? But it's not really a problem. You can see, the réaction not make all the Nitric acide to Fulminate mercury (after the end, when he add the Ethanol)

  • @Sllipp I think it's mainly acetaldehyde (C2H4O), and is quite explosive.

    It's not any of mercury's oxides (yellow or orange) or nitric oxides either... could it be CO2 that condensates?
