I was wondering if I should spend over my (rather low) budget to get a more expensive Yamaha even though I'm only just starting out in classical guitar. But you have just proven to me that its really not the guitar but the person who plays it who can make the music sound good. I suppose I shall settle for the cheapest, the C40 then...

Bro, you can consider buying second classical guitar. It is cheaper, but may have some scratches. But I don't know if it is easy to buy second hand guitar in Malaysia.
