Our Story:

We're developing a short computer generated film called 'Devils, Angels and Dating' purely for the love of animated filmmaking. This film is being made with the internet in mind, fully aware of modern interests and trends.

Synopsis: While Devil, Death and Cupid set about their daily tasks of masterminding our love lives here on Earth, they find themselves in the midst of an afterlife love triangle involving high tech visions of the tools we might be using to date on the internet many years from now. This is a love triangle with cosmic repercussions!

We're a large team of online animation professionals creating this film in our free time. At the time of writing we have 380 members signed up. You can see everything we're doing as we do it from the over 2700 online videos and images to our direct discussions. We have video critiques, tutorials, artwork, work in progress animation, tech videos and all kinds of goodies to look at. What's more is we've been building this archive of knowledge for anyone to view... for free (or at our own expense, at any rate). This is fine to a point as we love what we do and no-one expects to get rich doing this. But if there were some funds available it would make many things possible beyond the current scope of the project and it would ensure a solid film that would reward everyone that's poured their heart and souls into over the last few years, not to mention the wider world who gets to see it all for free. Please consider lending your support to this amazing project.

Your Impact on our Project:

The money will go towards the cost of a festival run, promotions to make sure the film reaches a wider audience, and anything else we can come up with to get our film out there to expand upon the value of the work we've done on this project. The amount we raise for this isn't fixed. The more we raise the more festivals we can reach. So even if we don't raise our goal it will help us to reach a smaller number of festivals. We'd like to hit our top 20 festivals which is why we've set a goal of $1500 but we can equally send it out to more or less depending on how much we raise.

Festivals can add up in cost very quickly, faster then you think. We want this film to reach as many important festivals as we can, to get it in front of the right people to grow this film to its full potential. Be that, a series, feature, commercials, or even help open up the door to another film or studio. The more festivals we can reach out to the better chance there will be a screening in your city where you can be a part of the audience to see your name in the credits (providing you have donated to a perk that will list your name in the credits).
