I wish she could get some marketing done here in the US to get more exposure and be able to tour bigger venues, then maybe I wouldn't have to drive 1000 miles to see her play in a club.

But all the US music scene is about is Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bros, and such, shoving them in your face by mass marketing aimed at 12yr olds. It doesn't matter if they can really play your instrument here, as long as they're cute.

They just don't know that they're missing out on the voice of an angel in Elisa.

Elisa what can I say? she has a really good voice, I manage her catalogue for the UK and I hope she will sell a lot of records here as well, I know her accent is not great and her music is not challenging but who cares??? kids buy her records in Italy and that is what really matter to me...

So true. Seems like poor music plus vast marketing equals commercial succes and great music without marketing equals 27.000 views.... but, hey, sometimes great music and bad marketing equals wasted potential, so... at least she remains pure!
