In 1993, British social anthropologist Dr. Jonathan Webber began a collaboration with the photographer Chris Schwarz which became known as "Traces of Memory." They documented existing traces of pre-World War II Jewish life in Poland, and the resulting photographs and text form the stunning "Traces of Memory" permanent collection of the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow, Poland. With the partnership of the Diane and Guilford Glazer Institute of Jewish Studies, the exhibition traveled to the Payson Library in the spring of 2011.

Dr. Webber spoke about the exhibition at Payson Library on February 20, 2011.
