Sergei vs. Tyrant (CoH)

Sergei, my Dark Melee/Super Reflexes scrapper in City of Heroes, beating an archvillain without using inspirations, temporary powers, veteran powers, base empowerment buffs or click accolades.

Beat him on the first try with the usual restrictions. Unfortunately for me, he has 25% negative energy resistance. So I was doing about 138 * 75% = 103.5 - 95 = 8.5 DPS net. It took forever. It felt like about an hour, and that would figure from the DPS. I was once again aided by what seems to be an AI problem related to immobilization he spent most of his time shooting me with his laser beam eyes. So even though I fought him for an hour, he put in only maybe ten or twenty minutes worth of heavy attacks. That was still enough to have me in the blinking red a few times, but I managed to pull through each time.

How is Tyrant weaker than Reichsman? They're both evil statesmen. But Reichsman has probably one of the most ludicrous hit point counts of all time. 200,000. Jeeze. The first time you meet reichsman, winning is impossible, your meant to lose, regardless of how many players are helping you. but yet, you can beat Tyrant on your own. Huh?

Well, I haven't tried Reichsman and haven't run the Kahn task force. Haven't fought any AVs in a while. If he's like Tyrant but with 200,000 hit points, no, I won't be able to put him down. That's way too much regeneration for me to overcome. Off hand, it sounds like Tyrant is a pushover comparatively, but I'm only going by what I'm reading on Paragonwiki.

Tyrant isn't in that mission anymore is he? Since GR came out.

The background information did say that when they fought, Reichsman and Statesman literally ended up pounding each other into a crater that only got deeper with each punch.

Ahh I remember we did Tyrant a few times we used to have this ss/stone tank io'd out taunt him into the lava pool and we killed him slowly while we stood around taking pictures. I mean we really were just doing the mission to just have fun we didnt care if we beat him brings me back to the gold old fun days. I do remember his energy hits really did some hurting wow. Oh question what server you on ?
