As me and some transit buddies were at Glenwood Road and nostrand Avenue wiating for a ZF powered RTS on the B6, my attention was brought to a bus turning onto Glenwood Road and Nostrand on the B6, to which I thought was a NG Hybrid on the B6, but when I took a double look, it was the LFS!!! So I had to get on it and record as this might be the last day it's in service for all I know

Enjoy!

  • NEAT! How do you think it performs compared to others on the roster?

  • @BurgerChefGuy I think it's pretty damn good for a Low Floor! But for the lines they gonna use it on, it's not made for it!

  • This bus is no longer at Ulmer Park. Only a few select Bus Operators were trained on this bus. It has a longer over-hang than the old RTS models that are at Ulmer. I never got a chance to drive it as I picked a run on the B3.

  • @DaddyIvo Yeah I know...it was at 126th Street Depot for 2 weeks, now back at NovaBus!

  • @leem9977 True, depends on the seat ur in too!!! If the seat is bad, the more you bounce around, the more you gonna hurt yourself!

  • @leem9977 Well, NABIs IMO ride too rough. Especially the ones in NJ. That particular LFS IMO rode fairly nice for a low floor, and I love a bus with a bounce!!!

  • @septakid Well see, I'm not in a LFS City. I am in a RTS and Orion City, so it is hard for me to speculate. HOWEVER, from my experience with low floor buses, this one was the best riding one IMO

  • @leem9977 1st you said you was a driver, now ur a rider. which one is it? And NABI's are NOT a smooth ride! BUT, it all depends on where you are talking about!

  • @venom2Yeah.....NYCTA has them as the articulateds with ZFs in them

  • @venom2nd I can't agree with you more!!! Right on the nose man!
