dudddeee my school cant even afford a new par can! and to change our rig we have to make dodgy as scaffolding, and we just pull on the bars to move around, also every now and then someone takes out a drama student!... ha!

For all of you jealous technicians:

I feel your pain. I really do. But keep in mind that 99.9% of these kids top out here. The vast majority of them will never use this kind of equipment again. At least not any time in the near future. Is that what you want? To top out in high school?

The backwards learning curve is not a fun one -- going from this setup to trying to design with Century lekos that are older than your parents. Start in the trenches and work your way up.

not in an actual hate kind of way, just an insanely jealous kind of way. i want your funding. give me your funding! my school does actually have one of the better lighting systems of the schools in my area, but still. i hate you. in a very friendly, respecting, insanely jealous kind of way.

For those asking: These were cues set to smpte time code on a Wholehog 3 console. On that console you could play a CD to produce audio and timecode. However, High End has not continued that feature. Today separate hardware that can generate Midi TC is necessary.
