@shopaul Sorry about the loss. It's been 5 years and I still think about the husky we had. She was amazing. They aren't just pets. They're family members.

I'm sorry for your loss. Its amazing how these guys can be in your life for so long, and then suddenly they're gone forever. RIP Buddy in Doggy Heaven :)

Saints are amazing dogs. They would do everything to keep from hurting that baby. I could see it in Buddy's face he was not going to hurt the baby. I lost my favorite Saint in July 2011 to lymphoma 6 weeks after she was diagnosed. Lost another at 8 years with bone cancer in her front leg. My son lost his at 3 years with bone cancer in his front leg. I had one that lived to be 13 and was a real doll. I now have a new Saint puppy that is 14 weeks and she is a jewel. You can see @ pmshear1.

Losing my dog and seeing her in pain before she died traumatized me. Hurt me like hell and I cried like a baby and still cries whenever I think of her. Crying right now. 11 years. She was my bestfriend and my sister. No one can replace her. Still can't imagine replacing her. I got a rabbit though. So silent like no pet at all.

Sorry for the loss. I had to make the same decision. The good times are worth all the trouble of letting them go early. Go, get another one. It's in the contract! Once you had one... you can't stop. To many need a good home with friendly people.

so sorry for your loss. We have a 7 month old Saint and I can't even begin to imagine the void in your life right now. Our boy is such a HUGE part of our household and brings more joy than words can describe. Again, I am so sorry.
Buddy, the dog in this video, had to be put down on Aug 30, 2011. He was the best dog I ever had and I will forever love and remember the times we shared over the past 12 years.
