Savannah and Atlanta 750, a Pacific type steam locomotive, pulls a New Georgia Railroad excursion train under MARTA, (Atlanta's Transit System). The location is Howard Avenue in Decatur, GA in 1986.

  • The General II (STM 104) has already been moved to SRM. She has been cosmetically restored and has been on display on the Museum Property for three months.

  • man that brings a tear to my eye I rode this engine alot in the 80s as a kid that was my only reason for wanting to go visit my aunt and uncle in Atlanta I have fond memories of this one and than the 290
