One of my best philoctetes discussions. i listen to this over and over. it is rich and deep, well articulated by these experienced and well-versed poets. thanks a lot. my mind is like a child going to an amusement park.

@deanjunaid Poetry is about the visercal and the mental. Both need to be taken seriously; I think they do good job of the latter here.

You know It's possible to be an intellectual and a poet. Some would say it's essential.

I do like poetry , taking about poetry ,and intellectual discussion but These people,from the moderator to the panel ( at least the first speaker) reading from notes-it looks very artificial and inauthentic . are they try to be intellectuals ? I think it's very boring . I went to a spoken word event vancouver (on the street)it was exact opposite of this event and I found it very interesting,live and original. please be open and talk from your mind in these events in the future.
