Take a break man. I don't think PKD would have disliked this project. He probably would have laughed at it. He did have humour you know - he wasn't some kind of god-like person, getting angry at every person that doesn't show him respect.

The most realistic simulacrum humanoid so far created is George Bush;Although there are obviously cognitive/intellectual glitches in his software.

Was the Android ever recovered? (it has been mislaid or stolen or lost in transit? As far as I know).
Voice recognition might be making it look bad here, especially with the ambiance - remember Microsoft demonstrating their speech software?

That is so cool, it's really amazing what they're doing with lifelike robotics these days.

Yes it is. Although he had difficulty understanding speech, it was really cool how he could track your eyes...and a bit spooky, too!
