Have you ever wanted an easy way to move your workstation from one part of the office to another? Have you ever found yourself tired of sitting or longing to adjust everything, from the keyboard to the monitor and the mouse, exactly to your liking? If so, you may want to check out this week's episode of 'gadget' -- I take a look at a new mobile workstation product from Ergotron, the WorkFit. This neat little piece of gear allows you to move your gear with easy and switch between sitting and standing while working.

  • Keep up the good work =D If I didn`t have a laptop I would be totally using it for my computer

  • XxDJHyperxX,

Hmmm... thing is... they have it for laptops too. :)

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • Can I have the link to the laptop version on please and if posbile a review of it

  • XxDJHyperxX,

We might not review the laptop version for a while since it's so close to the dual-monitor configuration. (It only changes the top mount.) However, I WILL put the link to the product in the written review that will go up on TheTechStop(net).

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • XxDJHyperxX,

The TTS lading page for this episode has been updated with a link to LCD/Laptop combo version. Click through on the link at the top of the description to get there.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • JESUS CHRIST!

  • epohnopulse,

Actually, I prefer "Fr. Robert" -- but thanks for the flattery.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • What about a tray lock, it looks like it moves up and down quite easily. Wouldn't it be annoying if you have to always be adjusting it, if you have heavy hands.

  • Pretty cool, but I have to agree, the price is a little too high. For the price, I would want it to come with a battery backup (ups) and some built in surge protectors. For now, I just use a $20 rolling laptop desk that I got from cvs, LOL.......Come on workfit, Lower that price!

  • smart guy, good job buddy..............thx for all the nice info.

  • if i had that i would get a ups thing with a built in batt and incorporate it so u never loose power when transporting "for a while

  • how bout the power source for the desktop?

  • That's a pretty cool piece of equipment. I'd say it's a reasonable price because it can replace multiple systems since you can just move one around to where you need it.

  • i totally agree about the module being sold separately. I have the neo-flex ergotron you reviewed a while back. I would love the option of switching from a laptop/monitor to dual monitors using the same base. sadly, i have not been able to track a module and gave up all hope.

thanks for the reviews, keep it up!

  • I woud love this.. I have a huge desk that if I replaced it with this would give me more room.. :)

  • Hahaha.

  • $750 seems pretty reasonalbe to me whe you figure you could easily be replaceing two, three or Four $2000 systems. Nice piece!
