  • @LartenCreapsly That's the harmonic minor he mentions.

  • @leopower7 use a sharp 7 minor scale and try learn two octives. Its very... Yngwie

  • @doowop2302 You're write, wrong ideed.

  • @leopower7 try wierd ways of picking them, you can make even a bland minor/major pentatonic scale sound really interesting if you use string skipping, 1 note per-string economy picking, hybrid picking or use wide intervals along each string. Check out Eric Johnson, he can make even a plain old major scale sound really interesting using these techniques

  • @leopower7 yes yes , i know the case. many players suffer from this "plague" which could also be called lack of imagination. this occurs on both; players with vast theory knowledge and players with none. sometimes it can be cured with time and by playing and listening to many types of music, and sometimes it never goes away and people are stuck with creating boring solos, regardless of ones knowledge of theory. such a pity.

  • Danny was one of my instructors at MI, he is really really cool and so fun to watch play. He was one of the best players at the school. I learned so much from him!

  • fuck mr friday the 13th knows his shit
