Even thought their sole purpose isn't to advertise for these companies, in hopes of being paid, etc.
When you get your car customized at a shop like West Coast Customs, Unique Autosports, etc. they always have something with their name on it, so you're advertising FOR them (choice or not).
Even if you decide to take of the nameplate or license plate cover off, it's still a WCC/UA job and people will ask "Who did your car/truck?"
You're always going to be a walking/driving advertisement.
No, I'm not suggesting anything. I've never seen a big problem in free advertising or this being a case as such.
People are going to be intrigued by what they are intrigued by, no matter if the advertising is there or not. People buy what they buy, regardless of whether or not the Sunny D logo in their faces, or there's a Lucky Charms paint job on a 70' something Caprice.
As I stated before, we always advertise for some company, even though we intend not to. These people have CHOSEN to do so.
Are you suggesting that the owners of the bikes mentioned are being paid and is why they are imposing these ads on their bikes publicly? And yes you are right about everything one does, eat, and drink being advertising, however I'm not naive. Blatantly large humongous advertising screaming out on my personal effects isn't something I consciously do. Manufacturer of products make sure you do it for them though. Nice display of people and their choices of bikes.
I hope Sunny Delight paid that orange bike to drive around with it's logo, and the M&M company that yellow bike. It's stupid to advertise for free for these company. Advertise for yourself

You advertise for people everyday... whether you know it or not.
From the car you drive, to the clothes & shoes you wear, to the food you eat and things you drink.
Only difference is YOU don't know it and they do, that's why they put it on their bikes.
