"Why were you out so late with Hollywood's bad boy" my mom said irritated
"We were talking. He's such a great person"
"I don't care if he won the nobel peace prize you should've called"
"I'm sorry but he set up a picnic and Miley and Tawni followed us and they embarrassed me right in front of him but he was ok with it then as I was getting slushie off my dress we walked and talked then we just talked more and it was so natural"
"I don't care if he's ur brother" my mother continued. when can I get some sleep?!?! "You were out way past your curfew and with hollywood's bad boy. I would've felt better if you were with Tawni or Nico but Chad why him.. SONNY"
I jumped "I'm up I'mm up." when can i get some sleep? "What was the question?"
"Why were you out with Chad"
"He offered. Didnt we just go through this"
"Not the details"
"He offered to do something nice after a horrible day of me wearing food and tween weekly and my friends hounding us for answers"

"About me and Chad they accuse us of liking each other"

"As a friend" i yawned "Can we talk about this in the morning"

"Then you should've come home at a decent hour" our talk lasted about 2 hours I was asleep during most of it as soon as it was over I tried to make it to room but I only got as far as the couch to get 4 hours of sleep before I had to get up take a shower and get ready for another long day at the set of so random we never finished that baby sketch. I did my morning routine and I drove myself to set as I was walking toward my dressing room I ran into Chad. We said nothing we just glared at each other and not in that evil glaring way but in that, I dont know how to describe it way like it was awkward. We kissed big whoop it was involuntary and not meant to happen. I continued my trek to my dressing room as I arrived I was praying that Tawni wasn't there. I dont think God heard my prayer.
"Morning Sonny" Tawni said
"Good morning"
"So how did last night go"
"Perfectly fine"
"Really what did you guys do"
"We just sat in the park and talked til like one in the morning"
"Really? Is that what normal people do on dates?"
"Number one it wasn't a date. Two, we're just friends"
"Sure Sonny" She went back to staring at her reflection how come everyone is assuming that we're more than friends
Tawni got up sat in front of her mirror and started putting on her make up
I opened my laptop for the first time in a day(thats a miracle) to see that taylor emailed me. I clicked on the message to see an article from tween weekly attached I quickly scanned it and it was about me and Chad it had interviews from each of us and they highlighted one of Chad's quotes "Sonny she's something different from all this Hollywood and I hope we can become good friends even with this stupid rivalry" awe he cares and just that proves the whole friend thing right? Or... oh no. Knowing most teens who read this they'll blow it out of proportion. Now that would make all the billions of readers think were more than just friends.
"Hey Sonny" Tawni sounded like I don't know. I never heard that kind of tone with her
"Yeah?"
"What happened last night after we slushied you?"
"Nothing we just talked for hours I didn't get home til like 1:30"
"That sounds nice shouldn't we get to rehearsal?"
"Yeah, that would be smart"
We finished the baby sketch thank god and now it's lunch once again thank god I saw Chad sitting at my usual table along with Selena and Taylor "Hey guys what's up?"
"Aren't you gonna try to make Chad go away?" Taylor asked
"Actually no me and him are cool now. Right Chad"
"Yeah especially after last night" I sat down in the empty seat next to him
"Ooo what happened last night?" Selena asked with enthusiasm
"We just hung out"
"And don't forget you got slushied"
"What! Did he slushie you?"
"No Miley did. She found Chad's surprise picnic sabotaged it and slushied me"
Taylor butted in "Ooo a picnic romantic"
"It wasn't a date" I said defensively "It was a nice thing Chad put together but since it didn't work out we just stayed at the park for hours just talking"
"Yeah it was nice getting to know Sonny"
"Back at ya Chad"
"So anything else happen on this date" selly just had to know
"It wasn't a date and we just talked"
"Sure Sonny whatever you say" I knew she knew I was hiding something should I tell them we kissed?
