Quake 3 on Asus Eee

Being the first person having the honor of posting Quake 3 on Eee :D
Game works excellent, but you have to set custom height and width in console
I'm running Quake 3 from a 4GB Verbatim Pendrive, and still loads very fast

If anyone wants to know how to set the custom resolution, here's how you do it.

-Start the game (probably 640x480 resolution)
-In menu start the console (~ dooooh)
-Write r_customWidth 800 (then enter)
-Write r_customHeight 480
-Write r_mode -1
-Then restart the game

You should now be playing in 800x480 resolution.

Quake 3 is open source, since you can get the code legally for some years now.

im not saying he is bad at all. I feel even after 20 years of the game being out, he could just come back for a one off game and beat me 10-0.

YES he doesnt play anymore but the fact that he got to clench the champion the first few years make him more knowledgeable and a legend. so what if the players nw are good, he was good before those players.

You can just type vid_restart and you won't need to restart the game.
