  • I much prefer the old time sound over the Scruggs Bluegrass style of picking. The three finger picking style is way too mechanical and shrill sounding to me it has no soul.I know the style doesnt have to sound that way my favarite Scruggs style banjo picker is Jens Kruger he has a wonderful melodic sound.Just my opinion not trying to offend anyone.

  • A-MAZING

  • @tdfeims Not sure I'd go that far with it.

  • I'd give anything to sit down with my old friend Ray and play for hours like we used to. I miss you buddy....John Lindley

  • This is cool shit man. =D

  • This is really an outstaning video. Kudos to David Holt for capturing it. L.W. Lambert is about as smooth a picker as they come. The outro with the Lonesome Road Blues is incredible and showcases each players amazing talent.

  • Fantastic picking...and what a great rhythm player Ray Cline is!!
