Various behind-the-scene snippets shot on the set of Fellini's Satyricon - one of his masterpiece and one of my all time favourite movie ever.

Notable feature : the mysterious Max Born singing Bob Dylan, handsome Hiram Keller humorously cursing the film maker Gideon Bachman and the shooting of Trimalchio's feast. Interesting to see the relatively hippie atmosphere on the set, it was 1968 after all...

  • This is from 'Ciao, Federico', right? Or is there still another on-set documentary?

Hey you know him ? How cool is that !!! Yes i have little doubt that he's changed quite a bit now. He is after all 59/60 years old or something...

  • Looks like the day after Woodstock.

  • i mean 'A' year before...

  • Nice to see Fellini in hippie times! E.g., 4:20: "Hai fatto l'amore questa notte? Have you made love tonight? No?! So you've lost the night". :-)

By the way, how handsome Hiram Keller was! I love his shots in 9:54-9:56!!!

  • Each work of GREAT FELLINI Is The MASTERPIECE ! But AMARCORD IS ABOVE of ALL ...Hail to MASTER ! Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you so much for putting this up. Satyricon is one of my all time favourite films, and Fellini IS the greatest film maker ever to have graced the planet.

  • @Flazzenzap hahahahaha... yeah really!

  • Max stll plays guitar, he looks a little different now!

  • Thanks for posting. As a Fellini fan and a someone who has always loved Satyricon, this was really interesting to watch. But all I could think was "The drugs sure flowed freely on that set!" Such a spaced-out bunch of kids!

  • Looks like a ton of fun! I'm desperately trying to be Fellini in many ways.
