@MrRoberesp How can this sin be repeated? It was directed at Christ. The Jews claimed Jesus work was of the devil.Jesus was on this earth as they directed this Blaspheme at God.It was God doing the work as Jesus healed the thousands. Thus saying its work of the devil. This sin CANT be duplacated again. If you say,a person who knows the truth of Christ and rejects him ,this too is said to be Blasphemy.

Habrews Chaper 6 is talking about such a state of comunion with the Holy Spirit that could be compared to the state of those angels that turn themselves agaist God.
Satan and all those angels tha fowed him are condemmed no for therir evelness but for their stupidity. They whitnessed God's power. They knew that they could be eaSILY DESTROYD BY GOD.
But they turn against God just for the 'pleasure' of it.

You mention Hebrew chapter 6 and I have to say that Hebrews is one if not the most revealing books that distinguish a Cristian from a jewish or 'law obedient'.
One sin can`t be forbidden Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

I apologize for any erros in this message. Englishi is a second language for me.
The question: Can I lose my salvation is by itself mileading becase "lose"; loss" is related to a fortuit event , not a voluntary issue.
Since Salvation is a gift (undiserved) then there is no way to once saved suddenly become unsaved.
I insist that the question or 'enunciate' is wrong.

if some believes an absurd idea that somehow that they can lose the gift of eternal life, they do not have faith in Jesus, they have faith in their works.

Were the Corithians lost? After they got their two letters and stumbled, did they lose their salvation? 'No child of God is content in a state of sin."
John MacArthur says in "Saved Without a Doubt" that there's a difference between habitual sin and frequent sin.
You have a problem with 1 John 3:9 if there's no eternal security.
I am being sarcastic here but our new nature can never sin while it's in our old body, we will sin. We can use all the security we can get!

I believe the 3rd possibility. This must be speaking of believers because it is said they are partakers of the Holy Spirit and more importantly it speaks of restoring AGAIN to repentance. That tells us these people did at one point repent. The Biblical concept of repentance literally means a change of mind and a turning to Christ. If this is an argument like in 1 COr 15 then the author is showing that the idea of restoration is absurd since Christ woul have to die again and that cant be!

This text has been debated for over a thousand years and McGee solves the issue in 2 seconds by saying the verse is not even speaking of Salvation. Poppycock!
We all understand what is being said here if a believer falls away then they can never be restored, Period! Well there are 3 possibilities.
1) this teaches you can lose your salvation
2)this is referring to apostates
3) this is an argument like 1 Cor 15 where Paul walks through the absurdity of rejecting the resurr.
2)

What your saying though puts alot of emphasis on ourselves and not the complete work of Christ. The way your talking it's as if Christ plays a part but we have to play another part to finish his work of salvation.

The question then comes....are carnal Christians really born again Christians. I think they are not.
I do believe in perseverance of the saints. That if you are a true child of God and have been regenerated, the Lord will not let you drift away off the narrow path.
